The Bill and Rosemary Gallagher Foundation, formerly known as the Gallagher Western Montana Charitable Foundation, Inc., was established in 2001 to honor the legacy of Bill and Rosemary Gallagher. As lifelong supporters of charitable organizations in Missoula and Western Montana, their dedication to community service continues through the foundation that bears their name.
The foundation is committed to improving the lives of residents in Western Montana, defined as those living west of the Continental Divide and in Helena. It provides financial support for organizations that aid individuals facing hardship, assist those with disabilities, and improve medical care and healthcare access.
Additionally, the foundation supports initiatives that educate and empower youth, offer relief to single parents, and provide care and advocacy for the aging. It also funds programs that help survivors of domestic violence, children in distress, and individuals in need of educational opportunities
