How To Apply for a Grant
Before applying, please review the foundation’s guidelines to ensure your organization meets the eligibility criteria. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact the Foundation’s Executive Director, Carolyn Maier, at (406) 240-6353 for further details regarding the grant-making process. Following a preliminary review, eligible applicants will receive a password to access the application form. As part of the formal review process, a site visit may be scheduled.
Organizations that have previously received funding are advised to contact the Foundation before submitting a new application, as funding priorities and requirements may be subject to change.
Grants are awarded semi-annually, with submission deadlines of April 30 and October 31. Applications postmarked after these dates will be processed during the next funding cycle. All applications undergo a thorough review by Foundation representatives. Personal interviews with individual Foundation Directors are discouraged.
Grants are awarded only in writing, and any indication of interest expressed by a Foundation representative should not be interpreted as a funding commitment. All final funding decisions are made by the Board of Directors..
